Day at the Beach

For those of you who don't live at the beach.. Just pretend you're laying on the sand and this is the view you see when you look up.. Is it clinche that we have a red and white striped beach umbrella? nah.... What a beautiful day it was.. Great for day dreaming!

Poisonous Energy Drinks

If you have ever seen the movie "Role Models" this picture will seem much funnier! Activists against energy drinks compare them to poison and while I remain nuetral, I was out at the grocery store the other day picking up some dishwasher soap and found the energy drinks next to the pesticides, insect repellants, bug killers. I couldn't stop laughing! I can see the conversation now... "Excuse me sir, I was looking for the Red Bull or Amp in the soda aisle and I couldn't find them, where can I find them?" "O that's easy, go to aisle 6 and they are next to the bug poisons, cleaning products, and laundry detergent."

Don't get me wrong.. I enjoy some good news as much as the next person & we are bombarded with negativity on a unhealthy scale daily, but really?.... Is this the best news our world has to offer right now??... Sad... Just sad...

Let the Fun Begin

Life is beautiful... Or so that is how the saying goes... Everyone has their own story or struggles that have defined who they are & how they experience the world. My life has taught me to see the world differently than most.

So many people (and yes, I am included) get focused on their own problems, thoughts, to-do lists, and lives, that they miss the very beauty and art that surrounds them. We often overlook the beauty & irony that is right outside our homes. We reference joke books or comedians to find the humor in life, but all that is really necessary is to look closer at the world. We live in a chaotic world where it is easy to lose sight of what's important but I've learned that if you don't take time to really look at your around and see all the wonderful sights, than you're missing out on one of the greatest gifts. Life's hard enough... Why not take a minute & find a reason to smile?

The world is my playground... And I choose to see The Beauty and Irony of Life...
